Northern California Horse Property

Last weekend Karla and I took a relaxing trip up to Calistoga (in Nothern California) where we got massages and enjoyed a great dinner at a local steakhouse. The drive was incredibly beautiful--I'm from Santa Cruz, so technically I live in Northern California and always have--but I must say the drive up to Calistoga far exceeded my expectations. It was an especially interesting trip because Karla has been riding horses in Santa Cruz and actually taking horse back riding lessons for a few weeks now. She loves it, and with that in mind we were keeping our eyes peeled for northern california horse property that was avialable for sale. Northern California, for those who don't know, is pretty much the best place you could think of to find a property to keep a horse (or horses on). As one would expect in California these days, there were tons of properties for sale, many of which already had horses on them. Let's just hope the Northern California real estate market takes a bit of a downturn so I can buy a horse ranch up there :)
